Description
Introduced in 1980, the Alfa Romeo GTV-6 is a 2-door sports car produced by the Italian manufacturer up until 1987. It featured various engines along the way, with the most notable being the notorious V6 motor.
The South African market introduced the top-of-the-range GTV-6 3.0L, pre-dating the international debut of the factory’s 3.0L engine in 1987. This introduction made it the most powerful production sports car built by Alfa Romeo at the time. Only 212 were built in South Africa for racing homologation, with the last six units being fuel-injected. It is unknown how many are left to date, but you can be sure that there aren’t many available.
The example we have on offer is presented well, showing 39721km on the clock. It has received some minor restoration work and is finished in white over brown chequered cloth. This car is an Alfa Romeo enthusiast’s dream and definitely the one to have.
