The Mercedes-Benz 280TE is a variant of the S123 wagon that debuted in the 1979 model year, with production ending in 1985, and having a total of 19,786 examples built.
The 280TE had a 2.8-liter M110 six-cylinder engine with 115 horsepower and a semi-automatic three-speed transmission, with optional four-wheel drive.
