The first Creative Rides Classics and Collectables auction in Cape Town was a major hit, attracting enthusiasts and collectors. The event’s highlight was a rare 1957 Alfa Giulietta Sprint Veloce Lightweight, one of fewer than 200 produced, and even rarer in its Conrero-tuned racer version.

Creative Rides CEO Kevin Derrick emphasized the car’s lightweight design and racing heritage, noting it retained all original lightweight components despite a non-original engine. Other notable cars included a special edition 1984 BMW 333i and a powerful 1971 Ford Capri Perana.

Auction Director Joff van Reenen observed a shift in the collector car market, with growing interest from Millennial and Gen Z buyers driving up prices for modern exotics.

This successful auction showcased the beauty and investment potential of classic cars, highlighting Creative Rides’ role in bringing these treasures to collectors.
