Seller Description: Thanks to an adjustable beam front end this 1973 Beetle sits a bit lower than most Beetles. The ride however isn’t compromised, and it still drives smoothly and comfortably.
The steering doesn’t have any play. The 1300 VW engine is a gem and pulls very well and keeps up with contemporary traffic. Brakes too are up for the job without pulling to the left or right.
The Beetle was re-painted at some stage and still looks very good. The body is straight, chrome and trim in good condition and fresh rubbers all round keep the cabin relatively wind and water free.
The interior has been redone in a mix of black vinyl and tartan cloth. The overall condition is good however there are a few small splits around some of the stitching. Lights, indicators, wipers and hooter are in working order.
Paperwork is in order, up to date and reflects USED/GEBRUIK status.
